# Can I use my existing phone with Meaningful Planet?

Yes! As long as your phone is:

* Unlocked when you bought it, or
* Already unlocked by your current network

**Not sure if your phone is unlocked?**

* Try a friend's SIM from a different network
* If it works, your phone is unlocked
* If not, contact your current provider to unlock it (usually free)

**Need to unlock your phone?**

* Text 'UNLOCK' to 85075 for info from your current network
* Most networks unlock phones for free
* It usually takes 3-5 working days
