# How do I transfer my number to Meaningful Planet?

Switching your number can be done from your phone, with a simple text to your existing provider before following the steps in your Meaningful Planet account. Here's how -  


1. **Get your PAC code**
    
* Text 'PAC' to 65075 from the phone number you'd like to keep    
* You'll get a text back with your code    
* Your PAC will be valid for 30 days

2. **Give us your PAC**
    
* Once you've bought your Meaningful Planet SIM and it's ready, activate your SIM in your account    
* Click 'Transfer my number' (it can take up to 30 minutes after you've activated your SIM for this option to appear, just while the network synchronises)     
* Enter your PAC, the number you want to transfer to Meaningful Planet - and the date you want the number to transfer

3. **We'll handle the rest**
    
* The transfer can be processed the next working day if submitted before 3pm    
* Your number will continue to work on its original SIM in the meantime    
* We'll move your number to your Meaningful Planet SIM in the background    
* We'll text you when it's done
