What if an employee loses their phone or SIM?
If a phone or SIM is lost or stolen, it’s important to act quickly to protect your business. Here’s what to do:
- Suspend the SIM via the MILO Platform, or contact our support team immediately - If you use Meaningful Planet's MILO Telecoms Management Platform as part of your business plan, you can suspend the lost SIM immediately via the SIM management section of the platform yourself. The SIM will be fully suspended in less than two minutes. Alternatively, you can contact our support team directly via WebChat, phone or email, and we’ll suspend the SIM or eSIM at once in order to stop any unauthorised calls, texts, or data use.
- Order a replacement SIM/eSIM - we can post a replacement physical SIM out to you within 1–3 working days (or via expediated postal options if desired), or issue a digital eSIM right away for instant access.
- Reactivate the number - once the replacement is set up, we will transger the existing number from the lost SIM over to the replacement SIM. The employee will then have their existing number and plan back in use.
