Can I keep my current phone number? Yes! Bringing your number to Meaningful Planet is quick, free, and hassle-free.

How does it work? We've made it super simple to keep your number:

Get your PAC code

Text 'PAC' to 65075 from your current phone
You'll get a text back with your code
Your PAC is valid for 30 days

Give us your PAC

Once you've bought your Meaningful Planet SIM and it has arrived
Activate your SIM through our app
Click 'Transfer my number'
Enter your PAC and the number you want to keep

We'll handle the rest

Transfer usually happens next working day
Your old SIM works until about 4-6pm on switch day
Your number moves to your new SIM automatically
We'll text you when it's done

Will I lose any calls or texts? No - your old SIM keeps working right until the switch happens. Then your number seamlessly moves to your new Meaningful Planet SIM.

How does free roaming in the EU work on Meaningful Planet?

Accepted Answer

It's simple and seamless. When you travel to any EU country, your phone will automatically connect to the local network, allowing you to use your plan's data.

All Meaningful Planet customers can use 25% of their monthly UK data allowance while roaming in the EU, up to a maximum of 25GB for unlimited plans.

We'll contact you when you're close to reaching your limit - and when you've used your allowance, we'll temporarily block your roaming data to protect from expensive out-of-bundle charges.

You can unlock more data at any time by upgrading your plan in-month through your online account, and your monthly data roaming allowance resets on the first day of every month.

How do I check if I'm free to switch networks?

Do you offer International Roaming?

International roaming allows you to use your Meaningful Planet mobile service when traveling abroad. With our roaming options and packages, you can stay connected with friends, family, and work, even when you're outside of the UK.

Meaningful Planet offers a range of international roaming options to suit different needs and budgets.

Roaming in the EU and EEA (Zone 1)

If you travel within the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, your plan includes a monthly roaming allowance. You can use up to 25% of your monthly UK data allowance while roaming, up to a maximum of 25GB per month for unlimited plans.

You will receive alerts when you reach 80% and 100% of your allowance.

Once your monthly allowance is used, we'll block your access to data to help protect you against expensive out-of-bundle rates - but you can unlock more data at any time by upgrading your plan in-month through your online account.

Your data allowance will reset on the first day of each calendar month.

Calls and texts are charged at a flat rate as follows:

Calls: £0.0396 per minute
SMS: £0.0160 per message

Roaming in the EU and EEA is enabled by default.

Roaming outside the EU and EEA (Zones 2 to 6)

To protect customers from high roaming charges, roaming in Zones 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 is turned off by default. This means you cannot use mobile data, calls or SMS in these destinations unless you take one of the following steps:
