Meaningful Planet is not a non-profit, and this is by design. This deliberate choice allows us to avoid conflicts of interest between investing in growth as opposed to supporting environmental projects. Being for-profit enables us to allocate 10% of bill revenue exclusively to green projects, so that it can never be diverted to spend on other areas. This means it is never competing for funding versus our marketing efforts, ensuring we can focus on both growth and maximising environmental impact at the same time. With every new customer who joins Meaningful Planet, our green project fund grows, creating a positive cycle of ever increasing donations and positive environmental impact.
