Google Pixel eSIM Setup Guide

Here’s how to get your Google Pixel connected to Meaningful Planet – fast, secure, and plastic-free.

💡 What’s an eSIM?

An eSIM (short for "embedded SIM") is a digital version of a SIM card, built right into your Pixel. No fiddly bits or tiny trays – just scan a QR code to get started.

It’s secure (great if your phone’s ever lost or stolen), plastic-free, and perfect for a planet-friendly setup.

🛒 How to get your eSIM

Choose your plan at meaningfulplanet.co.uk/plans

Select eSIM at checkout

We’ll email you your QR code within 5–10 minutes

Just follow the steps in the email to install your eSIM

No delays. No waste. Just meaningful mobile made easy.

📲 Installing your eSIM on a Google Pixel

Once you’ve got your QR code, just:

Open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs

Tap + Add SIM

Choose Download a SIM instead

Tap Next, then scan your QR code

Confirm and your eSIM will be downloaded and activated

📌 Good to know: Your Pixel already has a QR scanner built in – no need to download an app.

🔄 Switching from a physical SIM?

If you’re coming from another provider, you can transfer your number during checkout or in the setup process. We’ll guide you through it.

Already using a physical SIM on your Pixel? You can switch to Meaningful Planet and use us as your main line – no need to manage two.

🧠 Which Google Pixel models support eSIM?

All models from Pixel 3 and up support eSIM:

Pixel 3, 3a, 4, 4a, 5, 6, 7, 8 (and all XL/Pro variants)

Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet are also compatible

📱 Most newer models support Dual SIM Dual Standby, so both lines can be active at once. But you can keep it simple and use Meaningful Planet as your primary SIM if you like.

🔒 Lost your Pixel or deleted your eSIM?

If your device is lost or stolen, contact us straight away so we can protect your account.

If you delete your eSIM by mistake, your plan is still active – we’ll simply send you a new QR code linked to your existing service.
