How to manually select a mobile network

If you're travelling abroad and are experiencing connectivity issues you may need to manually select a network. Follow these steps for your iOS or Android device.

For iOS Users:

Open the "Settings" app.
Tap on "Cellular" or "Mobile Data."
Select "Cellular Data Options" or "Mobile Data Options."
Tap "Network Selection."
Toggle off the "Automatic" option.
Your phone will start searching for available networks. Once the list populates, select your preferred network.



For Android Users:

Open the "Settings" app.
Tap on "Connections" or "Network & Internet."
Select "Mobile Networks."
Tap "Network Operators" or "Carriers."
Toggle off "Select automatically."
Your device will search for available networks. Once the list populates, select your preferred network.

Remember to turn the "Automatic" setting back on when you return to the UK to ensure seamless network connectivity. Safe travels!
