Why is my number transfer request showing an error?

There are two common reasons a number transfer request can show an error.


  1. Your PAC code may have expired


PAC codes are only valid for 30 days from the date they were issued. If yours was generated more than 30 days ago, you will need to request a new one from the network the number currently belongs to.


You can do this by contacting them directly, or sending 'PAC' to 65075 - ensuring you send this from the number it is you want to transfer to Meaningful Planet.


Once you have an updated PAC code, please submit your number transfer request again.


  1. There may be an underlying issue that needs investigating


If your PAC code is still within the 30-day window, please email us at [email protected] with the phone number you are transferring and the PAC code you have been given. Our team will look into this and get back to you as soon as possible.
