Articles on: Switching to Us & Keeping Your Number

Am I allowed to switch from my current network if I am still in contract with them?

If you're currently under contract with your mobile provider, you may face some restrictions when switching to Meaningful Planet. In most cases, you'll need to wait until your contract ends or pay an early termination fee to leave your current provider before the end of your contract period.

You can find out when your contract is due to end, and what (if any) fees you'd have to pay if you switched before it ends by texting the word PAC to 65075. Your network will text you back (usually within a couple of minutes) with this information.0

However, there are a few exceptions where you may be able to switch providers without penalty, even if you're still under contract:

If you're within the initial 14-day "cooling-off" period after signing your contract, you can cancel without penalty.
If your current provider raises prices mid-contract, you may have the right to leave without paying a termination fee.
If you're not receiving the level of service or coverage promised in your contract, you may be able to argue that your provider is in breach of contract, allowing you to leave without penalty.

If you're unsure about your contract status or whether you're eligible to switch, it's best to contact your current provider directly for clarification. You can also reach out to Meaningful Planet's customer support team for guidance on how to make the switch based on your specific situation.
